When you register and apply through the MIC Recruitment Portal, we collect essential applicant details including your full name, email address, phone number, registration number, academic year, department preferences, and task submission responses.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
Your submitted data is used solely to evaluate your application, assign reviewer panelists, and communicate recruitment decisions and club updates to you.
3. DATA SECURITY & PROTECTION
We implement strict security measures to protect your personal information. Database access is restricted exclusively to authorized MIC recruitment administrators and interview panelists. Password authentication and session tokens are encrypted using Auth.js and secure protocols.
4. DATA SHARING & THIRD PARTIES
The Microsoft Innovations Club does not sell, rent, or trade applicant personal data with external third parties or advertisers. All submitted tasks and applicant records remain strictly internal to the club's recruitment operations.
5. APPLICANT RIGHTS & DATA RETENTION
Applicant records are retained for the duration of the tenure recruitment cycle. Applicants have the right to request updates or deletion of their submitted personal profile data by reaching out to the MIC administrative leads.
